Welcome to Atelier Events. By accessing or using our website, products, or services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. General

  • “We”, “our”, and “us” refer to Atelier Events, a New Zealand-based event styling and décor hire business.

  • “You” and “your” refer to the customer or client engaging our services.

  • We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website.

2. Bookings

  • A booking is confirmed only after a deposit has been received.

  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

  • Final details must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the event date.

  • Any last-minute changes may incur additional fees or may not be accommodated.

3. Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of [specify % or amount] is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full [specify timeframe – e.g., 5 business days] before the event.

  • We accept payment via [bank transfer / PayPal / other methods].

  • Late payments may result in cancellation of your booking.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable in full.

  • If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, extreme weather), you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future booking.

5. Hire Items & Damage

  • All hire items remain the property of Atelier Events.

  • You are responsible for the care and security of items during the hire period.

  • Any lost, damaged, or broken items will be charged at full replacement cost.

  • Items must be returned clean and in their original condition unless otherwise arranged.

6. Event Setup & Pack Down

  • Setup and pack-down times will be arranged in advance.

  • Extra fees may apply for after-hours or same-day collection.

  • Please ensure the venue is ready and accessible at the agreed time to avoid delays.

7. Photography & Marketing

  • We reserve the right to take photos of event setups for marketing and social media purposes.

  • If you prefer not to have your event photographed or shared, please notify us in writing before your event.

​

8. Liability

  • While we take every precaution, Atelier Events is not responsible for:

    • Damage or loss caused by venue conditions, weather, or third-party suppliers.

    • Injury or accidents occurring during the event.

  • You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from the use of our services or hire items.

9. Privacy

  • We value your privacy and will never share your personal information with third parties except as required to deliver our services.
